Good day everyone!
Mustangs Lacrosse is going through a bit of a transition this year and I thought I would send out a quick note to everyone to fill you in.
I am taking over the role of President for the upcoming season (And beyond). Courtney is transitioning to an advisory role as past President and will be Director of Alumni moving forward as we work to keep past Mustangs engaged with the sport and our club.
The People who have made Mustangs who they are will still be around.
Mustangs is a Family; this will never change. Programing will stay as it was the past few years, with a few exceptions. We will be adding more specific programing and expanding on others, Goaltending, Face offs, Etc.
Our Coaching Staff will be as it has all ways been. Certified coaches (NCPP, Lacrosse Canada Certification) Mustangs Alumni, Previous Mustangs who are in the NCAA and who have Graduated.
The Family will stay together. The Spirit of Mustangs will not Change.
Many of you know me, some of you in passing, some of you are friends and extended family. I have been involved in Lacrosse for Many years in many roles, Boards, Coaching Etc. Initially starting on a board with the Okotoks Raiders, the CDLA, then President of Alberta Field Lacrosse (Current)
My family has been with Mustangs for years and will continue to be Mustangs for many more.
I realize some of you are worried about this transition, I encourage you to reach out to me with any questions or concerns you may have, and with any suggestions!!
We will be introducing the rest of the Board as the season ramps up.
We are all looking forward to the upcoming season and hope to see everyone on the field!
Great things are happening!! Be a Part of it!
President Mustang Lacrosse
